Join me at my garden gate and enter into a delicious and delightful tour of my
edible gardens and remodeled kitchen. Samples of some of my favorite
recipes will be available along with a wine tasting, tea tasting, and art show.

I thought I'd let you in on my resolutions for 2009. Maybe they will inspire you.

Eat Healthier
I have started 2009 with a renewed commitment to eat healthier foods as I focus on incorporating more whole foods and ingredients that are low in sugar using the glycemic index as a guide. In addition, I will use superfoods whenever possible to increase my daily fiber and nutrient intake.

Cook at Home
This year I will continue to work to make time to prepare meals at home whenever possible and to develop recipes using whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. I will also continue to teach my husband and kids to cook so they can help on nights that I am busy with you.

Be More Active
I will continue to be as physically active as I possibly can. I'll be working to build stamina and increase my metabolism with my personal trainer. And, I will go for a quick paced walk 5 times per week with our new puppy Elsa.
