To help with my selections, I went to my favorite source of cooking and kitchen equipment ratings: Cook's Illustrated.   
Cook's Illustrated  meticulously researches and tests each recipe and product they review.  They accept no advertising and  are not persuaded by any brand loyalty in their review process.  

I have chosen a very select group of products to carry.  Each is highly recommended by Cook's Illustrated for their performance and price point.
