What are whole foods?  This is a great question and one that Liz is ready to answer for you.  This healthy whole foods menu is designed to help you make the transition to healthier cooking and eating.  Learn the basics about what whole foods are and how to ease them into your family's diet.  Together you and Liz will combine ingredients such as whole grains, vitamin rich vegetables, and protein rich legumes to create delicious and satisfying recipes your family will all enjoy.      Add in Liz's easy cooking technique tips and you are on your way to creating great meals you can prepare at home.  Knives and knife sharpeners will be available for purchase.

Adding more healthy vegetables to your meals is one to the healthiest changes you can make to your diet.  Liz a excited to show you what vegetables to add to your meals for the greatest nutrient impact  and how to prepare them so the whole family will enjoy them.  Using her family's favorite recipes, Liz will teach you cooking techniques you can use everyday.

 Desserts do not have to be difficult to make to taste and look good.  Liz will work with you to give you some basic skills and tips to creating three delicious desserts that you can prepare over and over again.

Adding pork to your list of lean proteins is a great option for a healthy diet.  Lean cuts like pork tenderloin, loin chops, and lean sirloin are high in protein, low in fat and have more B-vitamins than many other types of meat.  Pork is easy to prepare and takes very little time.  Liz will teach you what cuts to buy, how to store them, and how to prepare them to be flavorful and moist every time.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is a great class for you.  Liz will walk you through the basics of chicken: how to cut up a whole chicken, how to prepare an easy roast chicken, how to use the leftovers for an easy next day meal, and how to pan sear chicken breasts with an easy sauce.
