Hands-On Lessons at Your Home

All Private and Group Lessons are Hands-on

Private Cooking Lessons (1-2 students)  $240
Group Lessons (3-6 students)    
  $80 per person

Hands-On Knife Skills Lessons (1-2 students)     $200
Group Lessons (3-8 students)      $80 per person

Wouldn’t it be great if a chef could come to your kitchen and teach you how to create a delicious menu that was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented?  What if your visiting chef could take the time to answer all of your cooking questions and demonstrate many of the techniques used in restaurants everyday?  

Individual lessons: One-on-one instruction in your kitchen is a convenient way to learn cooking skills and knife techniques that will dramatically improve your skills in the kitchen.  A private lesson using your tools and your pans is a great way to gain confidence and practical skills.  Take advantage of the opportunity to have an experienced chef teach you how to make meal preparation enjoyable.  

Group lessons:  A fun, interactive way for larger parties to enjoy cooking a meal together.  Liz will set up shared stations so that everyone will have the opportunity to learn cooking techniques, knife skills and to work with a variety of ingredients to produce a delicious meal for all.  

Knife Skills lessons:  Learn how to properly hold, use, and sharpen your knives as a way to save time and effort in the kitchen.  Throughout this 2-hour, hands-on lesson Liz will show you how to: julienne - dice - chiffonade - and chop as well as other chef's tips for cutting vegetables and herbs.   In addition you will learn how to clean and butterfly chicken breast for stuffing and other simple preparations.
