Interactive Cooking Demonstrations:

Many of us have busy lives that often keep us from having the time or the skills needed to  prepare healthy meals quickly.    We want to help your employees simplify their meal preparation by  offering the information and skills needed to take the mystery out of preparing delicious meals. 

 Liz Barbour's interactive cooking demonstrations invite participants to ask questions, share cooking experiences, and motivate each other to be creative in the kitchen.  Liz shares  many of her kitchen successes and failures  as tools to help demystify the cooking process.  Throughout each event Liz encourages participants to ask questions as she prepares and plates each course.  At the conclusion of your event, your employees will have enjoyed a delicious  restaurant quality meal and learned the skills necessary to step into their kitchen with confidence.

Plated Menu
For groups of 8-20
Time: 3 1/2 hours
$80.00 per person

This 4-course menu option is perfect for a more intimate setting and a relaxed pace.  The demonstration is presented course-by-course and each course will be plated and served tableside.

Take a tour through Liz’s edible cottage garden while learning how to create an edible landscape.  The slide presentation is followed by the demonstration of two dishes using herbs or edible flowers as their main ingredient.

With Liz as your speaker and guest chef, your meeting or event will be fun for participants of all cooking abilities and interests.  Liz brings a teaching approach that has inspired her students to expand their cooking experiences, their pantries, and their cookbook collections.  Throughout her demonstrations, Liz offers cooking instruction, kitchen hints, and recipe advice that highlight her topic of discussion.
